Ohagi - Japanese sweets

Hello everyone!

Ohagi is a Japanese sweet made by Anko 

(Azuki beans paste) and rice ball. 

There are some variation such as with Kinako 

(soy beans powder), with black sesame seeds 

and so on. 


There are eaten in Obon period (from 13th to 15th Aug.) 

We spend time with family or relatives quietly. 

It's a special time.
