Veggie Sushi Lesson with an American family アメリカ人のご家族とベジ寿司レッスン

Hello everyone!

Today I held a Veggie sushi & Miso soup cooking lesson for 4 guests 

from Huston, Texsas, USA. 

Their impression of the first visiting Japan is good food, 

kind people and clean. I told them that elementary 

and junior high school students clean their class rooms by themselves,

 this is a part of education. 

Then they were convinced that! They also told me 

that they wanted to live here. I said to them it's easy to live here 

but our houses are tiny, then they said 

American houses are bigger but they feel distant from family, 

but in a small house they would feel closer to the family. 

I realized that was a good point of view. 

Looked like the father who booked my experience 

always wants his family to be happy.I thought t

hat father's happiness is the same in any country. 

He wrote down a good review for my experience.

今日はアメリカテキサス州ヒューストンから4人家族のゲスト

をお迎えしてベジ寿司と味噌汁作りのレッスンを行いました。

初めての日本の印象は、食べ物は美味しくて、

人々がとても親切で、街がきれいに掃除されていると

感動しておられました。

わたしが「日本の小中学校では、生徒達自らが教室の掃除をするんです。

それも教育のひとつなんです。」とお話したら

「それはいい考えですね」と納得されていました。

さらに、日本に住んでみたいとも言われたので、

わたしが「日本は便利でとても住みやすいですが、

家が小さいですよ。」と言ったら、

「確かにアメリカの家は大きいけれど、家族との距離が遠いの。

日本の家だったら家族と近くに居れるわ。」と言われました。

こんな考え方があるんだと感心しました！

ご予約して下さったお父さんは常に家族が喜ぶことが一番のように

お見受けしました。

お父さんの幸せは世界共通なんだと思いました。
