Make Japanese Curry Rice from Scratch ゼロから作る日本のカレーライスオンラインクッキング

Hello everyone!

I held an online cooking lesson 

for "Make Japanese Curry Rice from Scratch." 

I couldn't access it from my Airbnb ZOOM account, 

so I tried to solve it in a hurry. 

My quick solution was using my ZOOM account

then I informed the link no. to the guest . 

No matter what, once the lesson starts, 

it's really nice time! 

The guest was an American but lives in Netherlands, 

and she made curry rice with me at 3am. 

We cooked rice, made curry roux, 

and completed curry rice in 50 minutes! 

My usual interest before the lesson is: 

If he/she's ever come to Japan 

Where he/she had heard about curry rice

if he/she had ever made it.

She told me that she's never come to Japan, 

but a friend of her made curry rice for her 

and she fell in love with it, so she usually uses 

curry roux in supermarket.

She wanted to know how to make the curry roux, 

so she tried taking an Online lesson. 

I go anywhere to hold lessons, 

and I am glad that my participants join my class anytime.

 Cultural exchange through cooking is amazing!

今朝は「ゼロから作る日本のカレーライス」

のオンラインクッキングレッスンを行いました。

AirbnbのZOOMのアカウントから入れず、急遽対応を試みました。

咄嗟の判断で自分のZOOMアカウントを使って、

ゲストさんに番号をお知らせして入って頂きました。

何はともあれ、レッスンが始まればもう楽しいだけの時間です。

予想外のことは、問題だけでなく、嬉しいことも多いにあります。

ゲストさんは、アメリカ人だけどオランダに住んでいる方で、

なんと夜中の3時に一緒にカレーライスを作ってくださいました。

炊飯からカレールー作り、そしてカレーライスを50分で完成させました！

レッスン前のわたしのいつもの興味は、

日本へいらしたことがあるのか？カレーライスをどこで知られたのか？

作られたことがあるのか？ということです。

「日本には行ったことはないのだけど、

ある友人からカレーライスを作ってもらい、

とても好きになったので、いつもは市販のカレールーを使って作っています。

カレールーの作り方を知りたかったので、

オンライオンレッスンに参加してみました。」

とおっしゃっていました。

わたしは、レッスンをするためにはどこにでも行きますが、

どんな時間帯でも参加してくださる方々にとても感謝しています。

お料理を通しての文化交流の凄みです。
