Our Small Plum tree 我が家の小梅の木

Hello everyone!

13 years ago we've got a tiny plum tree seedling 

in a municipal office of the city where we lived.

It was very poor seedling, almost dying.

The first several years there was almost 

no presence in our garden.

Then from 10th year it's started to bloom and get plums.

It teaches me an important thing

that if I persist wholeheartedly something 

it will surely bear fruit.

 (in this case water and fertilize the plum tree.) 

This taught can be workable for everything.

The another day I took out from bottles 

Umeboshi which I had pickled the last year.

My small one also has been well done.

The tree currently about 2.5 meters high.

今から13年前に死にかけていた

「小梅の木の苗」を市役所からもらいました。

引き取ったという表現が合っているくらい

可哀想な背丈15センチの子でした。

うちの庭では何年も目立つことなく、ただ居る感じでした。

それでも、日々水をあげ、肥料をあげ、気づけば10年後、

立派に成長し花をつけるようになり、実がなるようになりました。

わたしは、このことから「手をかけて育めば必ず実をつける。」

ということを教えてもらっています。

これはどんなことにも当てはまるのではないでしょうか。

先日、昨年漬けた梅干しを瓶から出しました。

立派な小梅の梅干しも出来ました。

一方木の背丈は2.5メーターになっています。
