Veggie Sushi Lesson with guests from India & Germany インドとドイツからゲストさんをお迎えしてベジ寿司レッスン

Hello everyone!

I ran around a lot yesterday.

In the evening, I was planning to hold a cooking class 

for international visitors.

First of I got off the train at the wrong station for some reason, 

so I got on the train again.

 (I was the first person who got lost). 

When I was preparing ingredients in the kitchen, 

I received a lot of emails and phone calls from one of the guests 

who would join to my class of yesterday.

She told me that she got lost. 

(The second lost person was a guest from India.) 

As soon as I hang up the phone call 

I went to a main street to look for her.

Fortunately we could meet right way.

After that, I received an email from another guests,

writing that they got lost, so I went to the main street again 

to look for them. 

(The third lost persons were guests from Germany.) 

In the end, we could met at the station. 

While I was waiting for them there, 

the guest from India was waiting for us at the kitchen studio,

but she had to wait too long so tried to call me.

I was wearing a red apron, carrying a bag, 

and speaking loudly on the phone in English. 

I knew that everyone was looking at me strangely.

But I do anything for my guests!

Finally, I was able to meet guests from Germany, 

The lesson got started 30 minutes late. 

Once the cooking starts, everyone was concentrated.

Their smile was so lovely and healed me a lot. 

Coincidentally, everyone was a designer, 

so they were very good at making the pressed sushi! 

We all have different nationalities and living another environments, 

but I thought it was wonderful to be able to share our interests

to other countries.

昨日は走り回った1日でした。

夕方、海外からのゲストさんをお迎えして料理教室を予定していました。

いつもお世話になっているキッチンスタジオへ行くのに

なぜか降りる駅を間違えてしまい、また電車に乗り直してしまいました。

（迷える人第一号のわたし）。

キッチンで材料の準備をしていたら、数々のメールと電話が入って来て、

ゲストさんの1人が道に迷われたようでした。

（迷える人第二号はインドからのゲストさん）表通りまで探しに出たら、

すぐにお会いできて良かったです。

その後到着するはずのゲストさん2名がまた道に迷われた

とのメールがあり、再度表通りに探しに行きました。

（迷える人第三号はドイツからのゲストさん）

結局駅まで戻っていただき、落ち合いました。

彼女達を待っている間、キッチンスタジオでお留守番をお願いしていた

インドからのゲストさんを長くお待たせしてしまい、

わたしに電話がかかってきました。赤い割烹着来て、

貴重品の入ったバッグを持って、英語で大きな声で電話していたわたしは、

通りかかる人にかなり見られていましたが、必死でした。

ゲストさんのためならば何でもします。

ようやくドイツからのゲストさんともお会いすることが出来て、

30分遅れでスタートとなりました。お料理が始まれば、もうみなさん夢中です。

笑顔が素敵でした。芯から癒されました。

偶然にもみなさんデザイナーさんでしたので、

お寿司作りもとてもお上手でした！

国籍も生活環境もそれぞれ違いますが、お互いの国に興味を持って、

話せることってなんて素晴らしいんだろうと思いました。
